Job BriefAn Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated machinery and processes to complete exact tasks.They work in various sectors, including manufacturing and IT, to enhance productivity and efficiency.Automation Engineers must possess a strong technical background and the ability to understand complex systems and processes. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems and maintain optimal performance.This role involves continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and methodologies.Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated systems and processes
  • Program and code automation hardware solutions
  • Identify and resolve system malfunctions and inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Continuously monitor and upgrade existing automation systems for improved performance
  • Document all aspects of the automation process, including development and implementation
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users
  • Integrate IT systems to ensure seamless communication between different technological layers
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance automation capabilities
  • Undertake root cause analysis and corrective actions for system failures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or similar.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes
  • Knowledge of robotics and control systems
  • Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS systems
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Experience with automation software and hardware platforms
  • Experience in designing and programming automation systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attent
