We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Mobile Engineer with expertise in React Native to join our dynamic team at Hitachi Digital Services LLC. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining innovative mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.Job Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure mobile applications using React Native.
* Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and architectural patterns.
* Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues and bugs in existing applications.
* Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and improve application performance.
* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across various mobile devices and operating systems.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.
* Contribute to the overall architecture and technical vision of our mobile products.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
* Proven expertise in React Native development, including a strong understanding of its ecosystem, state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX), and component lifecycle.
* Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, and modern front-end development practices.
* Experience with native module development (iOS/Android) for integrating platform-specific functionalities is a plus.
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and data serialization formats (JSON).
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Native Testing Library) is desirable.
* Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
