Group Leader For Sw Test Engineer - Programmer - Mobile Group

JOB SUMMARY:

Test engineer verifies that the product functionally operates as designed and meets requirements
Provides technical expertise in testing, and reporting any defects found to the developers
Develops software automated tests, test plans, and test procedures
Documents the noncompliance in a defect database and writes status reports
Operates under minimal supervision and provides guidance to follow team members

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Core responsibilities:

Using Microsoft, marketing, and software requirements to validate embedded Windows and Android devices, and validate custom applications on Desktop PC’s. Perform certification on Windows Mobile and Android devices
Develop software test programs to validate the Mobile computers using C/C++, C#/VB.NET, and Java. Test development for both embedded Windows and Android
Perform sub-system and system level testing to meet requirements
Research problems discovered during testing and develops solutions to the problems
Guide, mentor and train less experienced test engineers
Manage a team and support the training programs including the creation and application

b) Other responsibilities:

Job Requirement :

Bachelor's degree or higher in software engineering, business (IT), or computer science.
With 6 or more years of experience in C/C++, C#, and Java software development and software testing. Working knowledge of Visual Studio 2005 or later; and preferred knowledge of Eclipse.
Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
Good knowledge of creating and executing automation tests
Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance
Good English writing and speaking communication and interpersonal skills
