Drive operational excellence in factory operations; responsible for all facets of operations at contract manufacturing include but not limited to: 5S, Lean, quality monitoring, Social and safety compliance. Lead a team of technical resources or leverage SME (Subject Matter Expert) from other teams to drive actions through internal functional groups and suppliers to attain business targets such as On Time Delivery, Scrap Cost, Week of Supply, and Product Health. Cost management is another key element in which the Factory Manager will be accountable for annual budget management. While meeting budget target, FM shall drive continuous cost reduction strategy & management via process and operation improvements. Early partnership with volume production teams to identify design elements and repairability opportunities that are new, unique, or difficult to enable highest efficiency of repair technics. Directing and setting priorities for teams focused on creating new ways to solve repair and refurbish challenges, inventing and commercializing new technologies and methods. Collaborate across cross-functional teams to provide systematic feedback on generational improvement on product design, respective to repairability and manufacturability. Drive clear and accurate communications and recommendations to peers and senior management by distilling complex technical challenges, outlining options, and providing supporting data. Senior Factory Management Engineer Manager, Factory Management Engineering Master's Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment /repair OR Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment/repair OR 7+ years of equivalent experience. Experience directly managing and leading an operations team with well-rounded skill set (Engineering, Supply Chain, product knowledge, finance, people management, compliance). Working with/in contract manufacturing experience which involved Program or Project Management and broad understanding of the hardware manufacturing industry, business and legal intricacies. Must have effective communications skills that engage across different levels in the organization, which include peers, support functions, and higher management are essential. In addition to effective management skills, the successful candidate will need to have the following attributes: Strong Integrity Strong passion and accountability Leadership (Agent of change) Ability to influence Supplier relationship management Supplier development skill set. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Mandarin and Vietnamese will be a plus. Patent or track record of engineering excellency. Master's Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 10+ years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment OR Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in a manufacturing environment/repair OR 10+ years of equivalent experience.
