- Analyze market trends & competition landscape in the target market and develop a line up strategy that can maximize the company's sales, market share and profit throughout product life cycle.
- Differentiation derivation: Identify differentiated value proposition and new concepts that can strengthen the product's competitiveness and winning consumer offerings.
- Monitor competitor movements to ensure Samsung remains ahead in the mobile industry.
- Product in charge: Smartphone, Tablet, Wearables and Hearables.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to drive growth.
- Manage to build the differentiated marketing strategy to maximize the impact of a new product launch and set and execute a market access strategy.
- Engage, guide and lead cross functional teams to make sure highest quality of execution of GTM strategies.
- Manage the SCM team to make sure high quality and efficient operation, in alignment with organizational evaluation KPIs.
- Guide and facilitate internal process and rhythm for better consensus in terms of forecast between Product team and Sales team.
- Provide insights to HOD and Sales team visibility of supply and operational improvement to deliver sales target.
- Work closely with marketing communications, retail, sales and channel development teams to ensure aligned product launches and campaigns execution.
- Gather feedback from sales, retail and channel teams to align Go-to-market development with market needs.
- Actively collaborate with Sales, Retail and trade field force team for operational excellence and remove obstacles to achieve goals
- Actively connect with HQ and regional offices for cadence and balance in planning and execution.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire Product team and SCM team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Foster a high-performance culture by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and recognizing achievements.
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent within the PM & SCM organization.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 12+ years of progressive PM leadership experience in the technology consumer goods is preferred
- Multi-faceted experience in FMCG industry is welcomed.
- Proven track record of leading Product & Go-to-market strategy, achieving and exceeding targets in highly competitive markets.
- Industry Knowledge: Preferred to have deep understanding of the mobile ecosystem, including consumer behavior, distribution channels, and market trends.
- Mobile Industry Understanding: Have deep knowledge and insights about mobile industry, including smartphone, tablet, wearables and hearables.
- Go-to-market strategy setting and execution experience: Experience to manage large scale go-to-market strategy from end to end and manage cross functional stake holders.
- Business value chain management: Understand the product development progress, milestones by development phase and decisions required on these items. Understand principles of supply chain, PSI management and sales channel operation.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to market changes and drive force.
- Strong business acumen and proactively identifies, evaluates and mitigates business risks
