The role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide strategy and collaborate with international teams, contributing to long-term transformation at a global scale.Job DescriptionLead the development of mid- to long-term global IT strategies covering applications, infrastructure, and securityAlign IT initiatives with overall business strategy and create actionable roadmaps
Establish and refine IT standards and governance frameworks across regionsDrive global IT projects, including planning, execution, and progress managementCoordinate with regional IT teams across headquarters and international locations to ensure alignment and deliveryCollaborate with external vendors and partners while maintaining oversight and control of project outcomesFacilitate cross-functional communication, including reporting to leadership and supporting decision-making through risk and issue analysisBuild strong relationships with regional teams and promote alignment on IT initiativesDuring the initial period based in Japan, gain hands-on experience with existing systems, governance, and operations while contributing improvement proposals for future global expansionQualificationsExtensive professional experience in the IT field: 15+ years of experienceKnowledge and experience in one or more areas such as applications, infrastructure, or securityAbility to take a holistic view of IT and translate it into strategic initiativesExperience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders across different countriesEnglish and Japanese: business-level proficiencyLeadership or management experience in any scale of organization or projectExperience in global IT strategy or IT planning functions is advantageousBackground in multinational or multi-location IT projects is preferredFamiliarity with modern IT environments including cloud platforms is beneficialUnderstanding of IT governance and decision-making processes within a corporate setting is a plusStrong ability to think from a long-term and organization-wide perspectiveWillingness to engage beyond planning and actively lead executionCapability to communicate effectively across cultural differences and act as a bridge between global and local teams
