We are looking for a proactive Assistant HR Manager to support the HR function for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in garment, textile, or footwear industries and will assist in managing the full spectrum of HR activities, ensuring smooth operations, employee satisfaction, and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Operations & Administration:
- Assist in HR operational tasks including payroll, HRIS management, onboarding, offboarding, and record-keeping.
- Ensure all HR processes are executed accurately and timely.
- Support in preparing HR reports and dashboards for management.
- Recruitment & Talent Management:
- Assist in recruitment and selection processes for manufacturing and support functions.
- Help maintain candidate pipelines and coordinate interviews.
- Support performance management and appraisal processes.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
- Assist in resolving employee grievances and maintaining positive relations.
- Training & Development:
- Help coordinate training programs, workshops, and skill development initiatives.
- Track training attendance, effectiveness, and follow-up actions.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Assist in administering benefits programs, leave management, and incentive schemes.
- Support in updating compensation records and ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure HR activities comply with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and reporting as required.
- Maintain HR documentation and filing systems.
- Stakeholder Support:
- Support the Head of HR in communicating HR initiatives across departments.
- Coordinate with department managers on HR matters, recruitment, and employee performance.
- Assist in regional HR reporting if needed.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of HR experience in manufacturing, preferably garment, textile, or footwear.
- Familiar with full HR processes including recruitment, payroll, performance management, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and compliance requirements.
