- Translate product strategy and high-level epics into detailed user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria - specifically for puzzle systems (core loop, level content, meta progression, economy).
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog; ensure clarity and readiness for each sprint.
- Coordinate closely with Dev, Game Design, Art, and QC to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Take the lead on specific roadmap segments or feature areas - from discovery to release - such as level content pipeline, puzzle mechanic iterations, LiveOps events, or monetization features.
- Work with Tech Lead to assess feasibility, estimates, and tech risks.
- Use data, player feedback, and competitive benchmarking of top puzzle titles to propose new features, balancing player value and business impact.
- Set up and track experiments (A/B tests, content variants, difficulty tuning tests)
- Contribute to level-completion funnel analysis, session-length optimization, and economy balancing specific to puzzle gameplay.
- Act as the main day-to-day decision-maker for feature scope, priorities, and trade-offs, while escalating strategic questions to Product Lead / Business Unit Manager.
- Ensure all stakeholders (Game Design, Dev, Art, QC, UA/Marketing when relevant) are aligned on requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with QC to define acceptance criteria and quality standards for releases.
- Monitor in-game experience, flows, and economy - with particular attention to puzzle-specific UX: level difficulty pacing, hint/booster usage, and progression fairness.
- Ensure release readiness through UAT coordination and risk flagging.
- Support junior POs (if any) through coaching on backlog management, documentation, and basic analysis.
- Contribute to building puzzle-specific product rituals: level review sessions, difficulty audits, content calendar planning.
- 2-4+ years as Product Owner / Game Producer / Game Product role in mobile games.
- Proven hands-on experience in puzzle games: must have contributed significantly to at least 1 puzzle title that has been scaled (e.g., sustained DAU, top chart performance, or revenue growth). This will be verified through portfolio review.
- Hands-on experience writing specs, managing backlogs, and working in agile / iterative environments.
- Solid understanding of F2P puzzle game metrics: level pass-rate, move economy, booster conversion, retention curves, and basic cohort/funnel analysis.
- Strong collaboration skills; comfortable facilitating discussions across disciplines (Dev, Art, GD, QC).
- Able to work in English and Vietnamese.
- Experience with LiveOps planning and in-game event execution for puzzle titles.
- Familiarity with ad monetization mechanics (rewarded video placement, interstitial pacing) in a puzzle context.
- Exposure to level design tools or level generation pipelines.
- Experience in other F2P mobile genres (hyper-casual, arcade, music) is a plus.
