- Implement global product Bill of Materials (BOM) into local production systems.
- Evaluate manufacturing feasibility based on factory capabilities and supplier capacity.
- Define Make-or-Buy strategies for components and assemblies.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Production in defining:
- Manufacturing operations
- Production routings
- Standard cycle times.
- Evaluate Design-T o-Feature Order (DTFDTO) requests for special or customized products.
- Assess technical feasibility and prepare preliminary BOM structures for costing.
- Support controlling in preparing product quotations.
- Align complex requests with R&D headquarter
- Lead Design-To-Order (DTO) engineering after order confirmation including:
- Product design
- Technical documentation
- Manufacturing processes
- Supplier manufacturing capability
- Raw materials and tooling
- Stable manufacturing processes
- High product quality
- Fast resolution of technical problems.
- Support HQ R&D teams in product development and engineering improvements.
- Drive Design-To-Cost (DTC) initiatives to improve product competitiveness.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve product performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Procurement

- Identify and develop new suppliers
- Qualify alternative materials
- Improve supplier technical capability
- Evaluate substitute materials for cost or supply optimization
- Implement product labeling solutions according to HQ standards.
- Maintain label database systems.
- Manage packaging engineering, including pallet and carton design.
- Support logistics with technical specifications for customs declaration.
- Lead implementation of engineering changes (ECN/ECO).
- Ensure consistency between local production and global product standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation.
- Support investigation of customer complaints and quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Provide technical support during new project execution and customized product orders.
- Work closely with the following departments:
- Production
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Controlling
- Procurement
- Quality
- Logistics
- Project execution teams
- Lead and develop the local R&D engineering team.
- Allocate tasks and manage team workload.
- Develop technical capabilities within the team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, quality and continuous improvement
- Support factory management in technical strategy and operational decisions.
- Drive engineering initiatives that support business growth and competitiveness.
- Contribute to long-term product and technology roadmap.
- Drive integration of Artificial Intelligence into our working environment.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- or related technical fields.
- Minimum 10 years experience in engineering, R&D, or industrial manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years experience managing engineering teams.
- Experience working in international manufacturing environments.
- Experience in product localization and industrialization.
- Product transfer from HQ to local factory
- Design-to-Cost (DTC) programs
- Supplier technical development
- Engineering Change Management
- Design-To-Order product engineering.
- Strong knowledge in several of the following areas:
- Low voltage electrical infrastructure (busways, switchboards)
- Product engineering and industrialization
- BOM management
- Manufacturing processes
- Supplier development
- Engineering change management
- Product lifecycle management (PLM)
- ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)
- CAD tools (SolidWorks (preferred), NX, AutoCAD)
- PLM tools (Teamcenter)
- Lean manufacturing and cost optimization.
- Strong technical leadership capability
- Ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously
- Fluent English communication at business level (spoken and written).
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
