It handles student lifecycle, operations, billing, payments, reporting, and complex data flows.We are past the early-stage chaos. Now we need to rebuild quality foundations properly.This is not a maintenance role. This is a stabilization leadership role.What You Will Be DoingStop Production Incidents at the RootIdentify systemic defect patternsDesign invariant checks (data consistency, transaction integrity)Build reconciliation validationPrevent recurrence, not just detect bugsOwn End-to-End Platform QualityStudent enrollment & lifecycleClass & attendance managementBilling & paymentsReporting & analyticsIntegrations & webhooksData migration & legacy importsThis role sees the whole system - not just UI.Hands-On Technical ValidationWrite SQL to validate data integrityTest transactional atomicityVerify idempotency of background jobsTest edge cases that break real operationsParticipate in root cause analysis during incidentsElevate the QA TeamMentor and upgrade team capabilityIntroduce structured test matricesMove QA from manual execution to system thinkingBuild quality metrics leadership can rely onWhat We Are Looking ForHaving 5+ years QA experienceExperience stabilizing a finance-heavy or workflow-heavy systemHaving strong understanding about below areas:Data consistencyTransactional systemsComplex state transitionsConfidence reading logs, querying DBs, and challenging assumptionsExperience designing regression automation, not just executing testsInterview ProcessRound 1: Role ChallengeRound 2: Team Interview with Engineering Lead and CPORole challenge - 4 hoursQuestion 1: What kind of reports/ validation system you will recommend to check financial data accuracy of the system.Scenario 2: Payment gateway sends webhook twice due to timeout.System behavior:First webhook: marks invoice paidSecond webhook: creates another payment recordBalance becomes negativeQuestions:What is the architectural issue?How would you test idempotency?What invariant checks should exist?What automated detection would you implement?Question 3: The system has had recurring finance incidents for 4 months.You are asked to design a 90-day stabilization plan.Questions:What would you stop immediately?What automated controls would you build first?What metrics would you track weekly?How would you define release readiness?
