Job DescriptionIn this position, you will support laboratory testing, batch verification, material evaluation, and quality documentation to uphold our strict quality standards. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical foundation in paint or chemical processes, hands‑on QC experience in a manufacturing environment, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement across production activities.Main Responsibilities:Verify formular and component specifications on batch cardsSet up, adjusts, calibrates and operates laboratory equipment and instrumentsTest samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specificationsRecord test results on batch cards, checklist and in our computer operating systemManage quality records and retains of production batchesEvaluate retains of production batches in response to quality complaintConduct incoming material testing, ensuring conformance to required specificationsPerform routine testing during production and finished product to ensure finish product are filled and packaged according to specificationsPerform quality audit of laboratory and production work instruction to ensure compliance to Quality PolicyQualifications:Minimum college certification in relevant disciplineMinimum 2 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the paint and coatings industryKnowledge in chemicals, paint or coatingsAbout us:PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD™Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
