  • Get hands-on building the powerful backend services that drive our fintech platform! You'll be a key player in developing APIs and integrations.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend microservices and APIs according to the architecture defined by the Lead Engineer.
  • Implement integrations with our core SaaS platforms (CMS, Risk, Loyalty) and our partner bank's systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other teams to deliver features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring system stability and performance. Utilize AI tools for code completion, debugging assistance, or generating unit tests.
Requirements
  • Solid experience (5+ years) in backend development using relevant languages (Java, Go, Python, Node.js - aligning with the Lead's choice) and familiarity with Card Management Systems
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of database concepts (SQL and/or NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and clean code principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and the fintech domain. Comfortable using AI coding assistants.
