Data Governance Framework DevelopmentDesign, implement, and continuously enhance enterprise-wide data governance policies, standards, and operating models covering the full data lifecycle.Define and document governance procedures, including data quality management, stewardship accountability, and control mechanisms.Clearly establish roles and responsibilities across business and enabling functions to ensure consistent application of governance standards.2. Governance Implementation & OversightMonitor and assess compliance with established data governance policies, standards, and procedures.Facilitate and support Data Governance Councils and Steering Committees by preparing agendas, materials, and progress reports.Identify and resolve cross-functional governance issues, escalating risks or breaches where necessary.Develop and manage structured policy governance processes to identify critical data issues and ensure enforcement of enterprise standards.Ensure appropriate controls are implemented to govern data access, usage, and security.Conduct training and awareness sessions for Data Stewards and relevant stakeholders on governance frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements.Collaborate with domain Data Stewards to achieve defined enterprise data management objectives.3. Enterprise CommunicationSupport senior data leadership (e.g., Chief Data Officer and relevant data function heads) in communicating governance priorities, milestones, and achievements across the organization.4. Project & Operational ManagementOversee governance-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with evolving business requirements and maintaining high operational performance.Address project conflicts, operational challenges, and changing priorities in a structured and proactive manner.Conduct post-implementation reviews and root cause analyses to enhance governance processes and team effectiveness.5. People Leadership & Talent DevelopmentBuild and sustain a high-performing data governance team through effective recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.Communicate clear objectives, KPIs, performance expectations, and action plans to team members.Manage performance evaluation cycles, providing regular feedback and development guidance.Foster professional growth through structured capability assessments, coaching, and training initiatives.Motivate and recognize contributions aligned with team and organizational objectives.Serve as a role model in promoting corporate values and culture within the sub-function.Ensure team members are informed of relevant HR policies and development programs.RequirementsMinimum 8 years of experience in data governance frameworks, standards, and enterprise governance programs.At least 4 years of leadership experience managing teams.Proven expertise in data management domains, including data quality, metadata management, data security, privacy, and data lifecycle governance.Strong capability in communicating complex technical and analytical concepts to diverse stakeholder groups.Deep understanding of information security principles to ensure compliant and secure data handling practices.Experience working within Agile environments, with solid knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and digital transformation initiatives.Demonstrated experience contributing to or leading end-to-end governance or transformation programs, from planning through implementation.Contact: Huong DoDue to the immense number of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
