Job OverviewWe are looking for an AI Engineer with demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience in AI model on boarding, small-model training/fine-tuning, compression, and deployment for Mobile, Robotics, Automotive, and IoT products. This role focuses on bringing efficient AI models onto Qualcomm chipset platforms and optimizing accuracy, latency, memory, and power across Android/Linux-based edge systems.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

2+ years of Software Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or related work experience.

2+ years of experience with Programming Languages such as Python and C/C++.

Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or ONNX.

Hands-on experience in model optimization techniques such as quantization, QAT/PTQ, pruning, distillation, or small-model tuning.

Experience deploying or profiling AI models on embedded, mobile, or edge platforms.

Basic understanding of Linux or Android embedded systems, software debugging, and source control workflows.

These minimums match the common baseline in current Qualcomm edge-AI roles.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Qualcomm AI Stack technologies such as QNN, AIMET, AI Hub, SNPE, or related toolchains.

Experience optimizing inference across Qualcomm hardware acceleration cores such as Hexagon DSP, Adreno GPU, CPU, and NPU.

Understanding of performance, memory, thermal, and power tradeoffs for on-device AI.

Experience with Android SDK/NDK, JNI, AIDL/IPC, or Android application/framework integration.

Experience with Mobile, Automotive ADAS/Cockpit, Robotics, or IoT AI use cases.

Knowledge of ARM-based system architecture and embedded software development.

Experience collaborating with global teams, customers, or cross-functional engineering groups.

These preferences reflect current demand for Qualcomm-platform optimization, Android integration, and edge deployment depth.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
