Job Description :Join Shopee's BI Commercial team as an Assistant Manager to drive commercial growth and P&L optimization through advanced analytics, strategic modeling, and strong business partnership.You will own high-impact commercial insights end-to-end - from deep performance analytics and predictive modeling to influencing senior stakeholders and guiding execution. Working closely with Business Development, Seller Management & Growth Marketing, you will shape monetization strategies, improve efficiency, and elevate data-driven decision making across the organization.1. Lead strategic commercial insights & performance steering
  • Own end-to-end analysis of commercial performance across regions, seller segments, product categories, and growth channels
  • Identify trends, anomalies, structural issues, and upside opportunities impacting revenue, margin, and cost efficiency
  • Proactively surface insights that steer business priorities and investment focus
2. Develop advanced analytics & predictive capabilities
  • Lead development of predictive models such as demand forecasting, seller/buyer churn risk, growth elasticity, and ROI optimization
  • Translate model outputs into practical commercial actions and strategy recommendations
  • Continuously improve analytical sophistication to give the business a competitive edge
3. Own data infrastructure, dashboards & source of truth
  • Design and maintain automated BI dashboards (SQL, PowerBI, Excel) tracking core commercial KPIs and P&L performance
  • Establish and govern core commercial metrics to ensure consistency across teams
  • Act as owner of the commercial “source of truth”, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and transparency
4. Influence stakeholders & drive execution
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to BD, Seller Management, Marketing.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear business narratives for senior leadership
  • Lead commercial reviews, challenge assumptions, and drive alignment on actions
5. Partner on scalable data architecture
  • Work closely with Analytics Excellence/ Data Science team to optimize data pipelines and warehouse structure for commercial analytics
  • Ensure scalability as business complexity and data volume grow
Requirements :
  • 5+ years in Business Intelligence / Analytics with advanced SQL.
  • Proven experience influencing decisions and managing diverse stakeholders in high-stakes settings.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Clear communication in English and Vietnamese - able to craft concise memos and present to cross-functional leads.
  • Resilience and execution under high pressure with strong prioritization and ownerships
