- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for feasibility, concept, FEED, and detailed engineering stages
- Review and analyze scope of work, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents
- Develop and maintain cost models, Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), and estimate worksheets
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs using drawings, benchmarks, and historical cost data
- Identify and document assumptions, risks, exclusions, and contingencies
- Support tender submissions, bid clarifications, and internal cost reviews
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to validate inputs and optimize cost efficiency
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in estimating, cost planning, or project cost control
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction processes
- Advanced Excel skills (cost modeling, data analysis, reporting)
- Ability to independently interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Good technical English with the ability to collaborate effectively with Australian teams
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under tight deadline.
