- Establish a sales plan to ensure the requirements of sales activities such as cold calls, sales calls, proposal presentation, meeting with customer, as well as other activities are met.
- Explore new business opportunities with all potential customers.
- Develop strategies to increase the company's customer base and secure existing customers.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with existing and new clients to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve company's targets.
- Support targeted sales activities to achieve company's goals.
- Attend to customers' needs and requirements and provide prompt after-sales services.
- Promote new services to existing and prospective clients.
- Build relevant prospects and pipelines.
- Work with the team to update market intelligence for potential customers, traffic mix and competition to enable formulation of effective sales strategies.
- Develop extensive knowledge of the customers industry, their customers, and their critical business issues, including finance, operations, and the supply chain.
- Responsible for coaching of sales personnel to identify sales opportunity, conduct sales calls and customer visits within the assigned territory through conversion, retention, and penetration activities to gain more business.
- Monitor the execution of customer orders in a timely manner and be responsible for the payment collection of the project.
- Present regular performance reports and market analysis for sales team and management review.
- Bachelors degree in sales & marketing, business management or related discipline.
- At least 8 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Proven sales record and have its own solid customer base.
- Good command of written and spoken English and local language.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Aggressive, independent and attention to detail.
- Able to work in a diverse environment and culture.
- A good team player and able to work under pressure.
