Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 15+ years of SoC design, verification, synthesis / implementation related work experience Thorough understanding of Digital design concepts Knowledge of state of the art SoC design flows Experience in delivering RTL2GDSII Good understanding of ARM based SoC architectures would be a plus Understanding of Bus protocols like AHB/AXI/ACE/ACE-Lite Holds team accountable and provides technical expertise and support to team members to ensure architecture and design tasks are completed on time. Leads complex implementation strategy development that meets system requirements and customer needs for team. Acts as the technical expert in resolving highly complex architecture, design, or verification problems when provided with incomplete, ambiguous or conflicting requirements. Holds team accountable and provides technical expertise for the design and verification strategies of the IP core team members to ensure customer and program needs are met. Directs team to add additional test cases when necessary to ensure that the most complex bugs are fully understood and analyzed. Provides technical expertise and support to team members to ensure power checks are completed on time. Reviews the process of interpreting reports derived from performance checks for various blocks to ensure potential obstacles are identified and provides a mitigation plan for identified issues. Acts as a tech lead on innovative technologies to drive advances; influences standards. Reviews technical documentation for large projects before publication and provides feedback on the documentation, and requirements as needed. Serves as a technical lead by participating in cross-functional groups to ensure a feasible product execution path and communicates this path to team. Drives technical conversation in design or project reviews and project meetings and ensures cross functional team alignment on project tasks, and best interests are represented. Acts as a tech lead on major projects to ensure they are driven to completion (e.g. timely, on budget). Learns and applies lessons from past projects; acts as a tech lead in the recommendation and implementation of improved and/or new engineering procedures.
