We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of HR to lead the Human Resources function for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in garment, textile, or footwear industries and a proven ability to drive HR strategies that align with business objectives, manage regional reporting lines, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and operational needs.
- Partner with senior leadership to support organizational growth, transformation, and change initiatives.
- Provide strategic insights on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for all manufacturing functions.
- Develop workforce plans based on production needs, seasonal demand, and business growth.
- Build talent pipelines for critical roles and implement employer branding strategies.
- Performance Management & Employee Engagement:
- Drive performance management systems, KPIs, and appraisal processes.
- Develop programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture.
- Identify high-potential employees and implement succession plans.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Design competitive compensation structures aligned with industry standards.
- Manage benefits programs and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
- Recommend incentive and recognition programs to motivate performance.
- Learning & Development:
- Identify training needs across manufacturing teams and leadership.
- Implement learning initiatives, skill development programs, and leadership training.
- Promote continuous learning culture and career growth opportunities.
- Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Manage employee relations issues, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment.
- HR Operations & Systems:
- Oversee HR operations, including HRIS, payroll, onboarding/offboarding, and reporting.
- Streamline HR processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Generate regional HR reports and dashboards for management review.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with senior management, department heads, and regional teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor for leadership on HR matters and organizational development.
- Communicate HR policies and initiatives effectively across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Minimum 8-12 years of HR experience in manufacturing, preferably in garment, textile, or footwear industries.
- Proven track record in managing full HR spectrum across multiple sites or regions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior leadership.
- Familiarity with regional HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
