You will get to focus on creating valuable relations with current and new customers and work with highly professional teams in an environment where you will be valued, recognized and well rewarded.You will work with amazing and diverse colleagues with a deep sense of commitment to live Our Values and together, go all the way for our customers, society and for each other.Key Responsibilities1/ Strategy and Product Management:Identify market trends, opportunities, and customer needsOwn the execution of Air Freight initiatives and strategies within countryBuild bridges between Product development, Operations and SalesEnsure you have a good connection with other Country Air Freight teams in Mekong, essential to develop a strong team cultureMaintain strong alignment with the Area & Regional Air Freight team2/ Carrier and Customer Relationship Management / Procurement:Develop strong local relationships with core carriers as crucial part of or our growth strategySupport the regional function in maintaining carrier relationsDrive cost reductions by optimal allocation with carriers and contractsActively build strong relationships with customers.Ensure second-to-none customer experience3/ Pricing Management:Take responsibility for Air Freight Pricing activities in the Country, including but not limited to Price-setting Strategy and MarginsWork with Carriers to ensure that we are fulfilling commitments and generating a better-than-market buying priceCritically evaluate the risk appetite for committing BSA/Charter to enable our pricing strategy4/ Operations Execution:Responsible for the end-to-end execution to support our customers’ success in a lean and cost-efficient mannerEnsuring the team adheres to the standard process and customer-specific IOPs and monitors respective KPIsFollow standard processes and systems and ensure documentation is in placeImplement new systems to ensure that we are at our most effective, this will include new execution systems as well as underlying improvements through review of our current processes5/ Performance Management:Manage and improve the performance of the Air Freight Service/ProductProfitability - Focus on maximizing revenue, EBIT and GP through upselling and cost management.Strengthening the engagement with the area & regional air freight networkCritical CompetenciesAt least 10 years of experience in air charter/freight forwarding/air freight at similar management position(s).Have strong leadership skills to manage and develop the teamAbility to communicate clearly and set focus/directionLanguage proficiency: Professional English level, Native Vietnamese level.Have a strong P&L experience to anticipate future product performance and factor this into overall pricing strategy decisions.Have the ability to identify customer pain points using qualitative and quantitative dataHave a strong customer-focused mindset with excellent attention to detailHave a strong strategic mindset and execution skills.Have strong project management and planning skillsAbility to collaborate and work across boundaries#LI-DNIMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
