BGSV nowadays have over 4,000 associates, with a global footprint and presence in the US, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.With our unique ability to offer end-to-end solutions that connect sensors, software, and services, we enable businesses to move from the traditional to digital or improve businesses by introducing a digital element in their products and processes.Job DescriptionDepartment InformationETA specializes in Mobility Engineering Solutions/ Engineering Tools Applications and Services.MCD: Measurement, calibration, and diagnostics using ETAS products such as XETK and GETK, MDH, INCA, etc.Role Overview You will join our embedded-software team to design, develop and integrate real-time applications on Linux and QNX, and to build user-space components for MC-Gateway development.Key Responsibilities

Architect, implement and maintain embedded applications on Linux using CMake for cross-platform builds
Develop inter-process communication modules on POSIX (named pipes, shared memory)
Implement and integrate communication protocols (e.g. XCP)
Handle JSON-based config and data exchange
Directly communicate with German stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
2+ years’ professional experience in embedded development
Nice to have:

Adaptive Autosar
CMake (project configuration, tooling, custom modules)
POSIX IPC (named pipes, shared memory, semaphores)
C++ (modern standards, STL, concurrency)
Python scripting (automation, testing, data processing)
JSON (schema design, parsing, serialization)
