- Own the end‑to‑end data platform strategy and architecture, delivering scalable cloud‑native solutions across batch and real‑time data.
- Define platform standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps, driving adoption of modern data technologies.
- Lead the build and operation of enterprise data platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and automation.
- Drive platform engineering excellence, including CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, monitoring, and observability.
- Embed data governance, security, and compliance by design, ensuring regulatory readiness through strong access controls, data quality, and auditability.
- Partner with Risk and Security teams to meet compliance and audit requirements.
- Build and lead high‑performing data platform engineering teams, setting strong engineering standards and developing talent.
- Partner with Product, Analytics, AI/ML, and Business leaders to deliver data capabilities with clear business impact.
- Represent data platform engineering in senior leadership forums and technology governance bodies.
- 12+ years in data or platform engineering, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Proven experience building and scaling large‑scale cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong expertise in data lake/lakehouse architectures, batch & streaming processing, and distributed systems
- Experience operating in regulated environments, with solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
- Track record of leading senior, multi‑disciplinary engineering teams
- Experience in fintech, digital banking, or financial services
- Strategic, execution‑focused leader with strong communication, influence, and decision‑making skills
- Own and shape the company's core data platform strategy with direct business impact
- Build at scale, powering real‑time fintech use cases across analytics, risk, and AI
