Each Rixos property presents a unique experience inspired by local culture, global influences, and our Turkish heritage, all within a setting of unparalleled luxury.Job DescriptionAs Lobby Host, you'll own the guest journey from arrival to departure - ensuring every moment feels considered, calm, and exceptional.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing for daily VIP arrivals, including room allocations, amenities, and special requestsEnsuring VIP mise-en-place is perfectly prepared (welcome drinks)Handling VIP check-in and check-out efficiently, discreetly, and professionallyPersonally escorting VIP guests to their roomsAccurately updating guest information in the system following check-inProviding warm, attentive, and responsive service to all guests at all timesResolving guest requests and complaints swiftly by coordinating with relevant departmentsMaintaining strong knowledge of hotel rate codes, packages, segmentation, and discountsStaying in continuous contact with guests to proactively manage any issues or special needsMaking daily courtesy calls to VIP rooms and selected guestsEnsuring front office areas are clean, organised, and guest-ready at all timesMonitoring hotel occupancy, VIP movements, groups, and functionsRe-announcing VIP room details to Housekeeping and F&B teamsChecking departure details for current and upcoming daysArranging special touches such as bouquets, cakes, and cards for guest anniversaries and birthdaysInspecting VIP rooms after amenities are placedReviewing guest feedback daily and taking direct action where appropriateQualificationsExperience in Guest Relations, Lobby Host, or Front Office roles within a luxury hotelExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needsConfidence handling VIP guests, sensitive situations, and high expectationsAbility to multitask and coordinate across departments seamlesslyAdditional Information
