- Build Business Development Plan in line with Market Strategy.
- Play a critical role in new business opportunity acquisition, missioned by the Company.
- Attend to relevant trade shows and exhibitions to develop networks, new product awareness, new segments and prospects acquisition.
- Search and contact prospects, develop understanding of the customer's needs and overall business (marketplace, channel, retailer, consumer, competitive environment, strategy, productivity, profitability and the across value chain).
- Nurture opportunities using value books & mobilize right resources based on opportunity needs, buying process & opportunity maturity.
- Pursue business opportunities with new prospects and secure sustainable business.
- Practice Value Selling in pursuing the potential opportunities. Ensure opportunity pipelines are managed through Customer Relationship Management platform.
- Lead the development and presentation of packaging solutions to prospects.
- Lead qualification and nurturing activities with close cooperation with marketing.
- Finalize opportunities with prospects which lead to contract signing and project execution.
- Drive E2E System Solutions (Integrated sales, Cross- Selling opportunities).
- Manage and drive growth with some of the high potential customer/s using key account management methodology. Hand over the customer/s to key account management once the customer/s have reached certain business size.
- Create solutions, Quote & Negotiate deals/ contracts with customers using Value selling process.
- Opportunity Identification both Outside-In (customer discussions, marketing campaigns, tenders etc) & Inside-Out (market growth initiatives - BD plans/ new geographies/ new segments, contract renewals/ capacity expansion, etc).
- Degree or higher in business administration, engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in sales and marketing roles.
- Understanding of local market / customers / categories mapping to identify opportunities.
- Knowledge of FMCG, preferably beverage and canned food industry.
- Experience of dealing with higher level executives of Customers
- Capability to participate in strategizing business plan.
- Self-driven with a can-do-attitude, hands-on individual who is an opportunist
- Strong communicator and negotiator
- Strong customer focus
- Strong in business acumen and entrepreneurial skill
- Good interpersonal skill and Team player.
