If you are inspired by our shared values and passionate about why we come to work every day, join us!RESPONSIBILITIESThe Automation QA Engineer will be in charge of the Quality Assurance of Web-based/Windows Desktop applications, SAP ERP and work directly with our stakeholders in the US to provide support for Simpson Strong-Tie’s application development.

Develop/Build or Maintain the automation test framework or framework components in order to reduce test cycles and overall time to market.
Assist with integrating test automation with the continuous integration build environment.
Own automation test script development and execution, data sourcing/data provisioning, and defect analysis, and ensure that proper test result documentation and processes are followed as per the test strategy.
Develop/update or Maintain the Performance Test for Multi-Clients & Servers to ensure the system is stable & smooth.
In charge of the implementation of new technologies and providing recommendations and informing stakeholders about potential threats.
Support Testing of the web/desktop applications developed by the Simpson IT development team.
Be responsible for all aspects of testing and Quality Assurance thru the full project lifecycle (from Blueprinting through Implementation)
Create software QA test automation plans and contribute to developing and maintaining a repository of regression automation test cases.
Oversee the creation and execution of test cases and test scripts.
Perform Daily / Weekly / On-demand reports to QC leader/Manager on the progress and status of the assigned tasks.
Review/ analyze the software requirements then develop the manual test cases before starting to develop the automation scripts.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or relevant majors.
3 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing as a QC/Tester. (At least 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing)
Working experience of automation with Selenium web driver/ VB.Net with QTP or experience of Python automation using Robot/Pytest frameworks.
Being familiar with using Micro Focus UFT/ QuickTest Pro tool is preferable.
Experience building or maintaining automation test frameworks.
Experience on performance test framework like JMeter is a plus.
Experience on security test is a plus.
Having experience in E-commerce or SAP testing will be preferred.
Experience in API testing ( Postman, RestAssured )
Good logical thinking, design analysis and ability to read and understand requirements or specifications.
Good ability in troubleshooting to fix the issues.
Proactive to communicate with Product, Dev teams and other team members.
Good English written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and multitasking capabilities.
Independence, abilities to work effectively as a team member with a minimum of supervisior.
Ability to troubleshoot and improve Jenkin jobs.
Familiar with web technologies and programming (html, IIS, web services).
Familiar with source control like git/sourcetree.
Familiar with scripting language such as bash script/shell script.
