Segment Strategy & Business PlanningDevelop and implement comprehensive business strategies for priority retail customer segments, ensuring alignment with broader retail and wealth management objectives.Assess market dynamics, competitive positioning, customer behavior trends, and growth opportunities to refine segment strategies.Oversee the strategic direction of investment products offered to targeted segments, ensuring consistency with risk appetite, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.2. Commercial Growth & Financial PerformanceDrive overall segment performance across key financial and operational indicators, including:Customer acquisition and retentionAssets under management (AUM) growthLending and deposit expansionRevenue generation and profitabilityMaximize customer lifetime value through effective segmentation models, portfolio management strategies, and lifecycle engagement approaches.Lead the design and implementation of loyalty, rewards, and customer engagement programs to strengthen long-term relationships and brand affinity.3. Sales, Distribution & Marketing ExecutionEstablish scalable and performance-driven sales frameworks supported by structured processes, measurable KPIs, and defined service standards.Define and optimize distribution channels, including physical branch networks, relationship management models, and digital/self-service platforms.Collaborate closely with Marketing and Analytics teams to develop targeted campaigns and data-driven growth initiatives.4. Leadership & Talent ManagementProvide leadership across teams responsible for customer segments, analytics, and investment products.Foster a high-performance culture centered on customer focus, accountability, and measurable outcomes.Recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber professionals within affluent and wealth-focused banking segments.Build leadership capability and succession pipelines within the function.5. Stakeholder Management & GovernancePartner with internal stakeholders across Retail Banking, Risk Management, Compliance, Product Development, and Technology functions to ensure seamless execution.Manage relationships with external partners, investment product providers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.Ensure strict adherence to governance frameworks, regulatory standards, and risk management policies, particularly in relation to investment and wealth products.Requirements10–15+ years of experience within banking or financial services.Strong background in Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Affluent client segments.Demonstrated senior leadership experience overseeing large, diverse teams.Proven track record of delivering sustained business growth across customer segments and investment portfolios.Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution (mandatory).Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.Strategic thinker with strong commercial judgment and financial acumen.Deep understanding of affluent and high-net-worth client behavior and wealth management dynamics.Strong executive presence with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Comfortable operating within regulated and rapidly evolving financial markets.Prior experience in emerging or Asian markets is highly advantageous.Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in cross-cultural environments and adapt global best practices to local market conditions.
