BGSV nowadays have over 4,000 associates, with a global footprint and presence in the US, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.With our unique ability to offer end-to-end solutions that connect sensors, software, and services, we enable businesses to move from the traditional to digital or improve businesses by introducing a digital element in their products and processes.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will join an international Scrum team, contributing to scalable and reliable embedded software solutions, with opportunities to support security-related initiatives and CI/CD (DevOps) pipelines in a large-scale engineering project with more than 150 software developers.
  • Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining embedded software components in C/C++
  • Contribute to system architecture and software integration activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment
  • Establishing professional processes
  • Architectural optimizations in the area of return of invest.
QualificationsMust have requirements:
  • Bachelor of engineering or related fields.
  • 3 - 10 years of experience for Embedded Software Development.
  • Very good C coding skills.
  • Good knowledge and experience working with embedded system development (Software build process, Microcontrollers, Debugging Tools, real-time operating system (RTOS), memory stack e.g. FLASH, EEPROM, FEE, …).
  • Fluent English communication.
  • Good requirement engineering and software design skill.
  • Technical leadership
  • Ability to take over ownership for topics with a cross-team.
  • Ability to mentor less experienced team members and to foster a learning culture.
Nice-to-have requirements:
  • Exposure to cybersecurity concepts (secure design, secure coding, security architecture)
  • Experience with Linux, QNX
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (DevOps)
  • Familiarity with SAFe or Scrum methodologies
