Our client - a leading packaging solution provider - is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Sales Manager - Vietnam & Philippines to lead the growth of its New Equipment business in Vietnam & Philippines - a strategically important and fast-evolving market.Responsibilities:
  • Sales Leadership: Drive and achieve sales targets across Vietnam and the Philippines for the assigned New Equipment portfolio, ensuring strong focus on key strategic market segments. Travel regularly within the territory to maintain close customer relationships and assess competitive activity.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement mid- to long-term growth strategies, including innovative and market-specific go-to-market initiatives aligned with local dynamics.
  • Customer & Channel Management: Establish and strengthen relationships with key customers and channel partners, working with both existing and new agents while supporting global key account initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Operate within a matrix organization, partnering closely with product companies to drive alignment and unlock cross-portfolio growth opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive movements to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • CRM & Business Intelligence: Utilize CRM tools extensively to manage and grow the sales pipeline. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, opportunities, visits, communications, and proposals within the company's CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).
Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of B2B sales experience within the packaging machinery industry, with a proven track record of success in Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asia.
  • Sales Planning & Execution: Strong capability in developing and executing region-specific growth strategies, including structured sales action plans designed to drive performance and challenge existing market approaches where necessary.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with strong active listening skills. Capable of effectively presenting technical solutions in a B2B environment, understanding commercial terms, and successfully navigating both commercial and technical discussions with customers.
