The Indirect Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of indirect goods and services across manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on technical buying, strategic sourcing, and transactional purchasing. This role also includes managing MRO warehouse inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to support production efficiency.Purchasing Operation
  • Manage daily purchasing operations including requisition review, PO issuance, and order tracking.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to support production schedules.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and coordinate with finance for payment processing.
Technical Buying:
  • Interpret technical specifications and drawings for equipment, tooling, and service purchases.
  • Partner with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure technical compatibility and performance.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities for complex technical requirements.
MRO Warehouse Inventory Management:
  • Oversee MRO inventory levels to ensure availability of critical spare parts and supplies.
  • Implement inventory control systems and reorder strategies to minimize stockouts and excess.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory turnover.
  • Monitor and report on inventory accuracy, obsolescence, and usage trends.
To work for large-scale and fast-pace ManufacturingLead supplier negotiations, develop procurement KPIs
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and MRO categories.
  • Proven experience in developing procurement KPIs and implementing purchasing policies.
  • Experience in MRO inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and sourcing tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
