- 4 -7 years related working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor degree in technical field from an accredited program.
- Behavioral:
- Proven problem solving skill.
- Possess good English communication skill (verbal and written).
- Ability to lead team.
- Possess influential and decision making skill.
- Technical:
- Excellent computer knowledge skills.
- Proven Knowledge of ISO standards, VDE or UL requirements.
- Knowledge of internal or external audits.
- Proven knowledge in statistical application.
- Knowledge in Semiconductor field
- Preferred Six Sigma knowledge with black belt certification.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of Quality and Reliability procedures and records per ISO standards.
- Responsible for the training of personnel on Quality and Reliability System requirements and procedures as required.
- Interfaces with other departments and customer on quality issues and feedback for manufacturing and engineering for corrective/preventive action.
- Support the New Product/Process Introduction readiness.
- Defines and implements corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement activities as assigned.
- Responsible for problem-solving of internal quality issues and attend to customer complaints.
- Participates in ISO internal and external audit.
- Communicate between different plants and sites to ensure copy smart philosophy is followed.
- Lead projects and task force team in driving solution for root cause to quality issues.
- Attend to any customer complaints and come out with corrective actions plan.
- This position may have Technicians as direct report.
- Required to travel to Malaysia for 4 weeks training.
- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift
- Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
- Will lift, push or pull up to 12 Kg on an occasional basis
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
- 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)
- All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair)
