- Sourcing Category Management - Assist Sourcing Director / Senior Sourcing Manager to achieve total company financial goals. Understand vendor/factory organizational structure and financial feasibility. Identify potential financial risks and report. Support SD / SSM to develop and strengthen vendor capabilities Great vendor, Great product and Lower cost. Identify and resolve operational issues proactively with the collaboration with cross functional teams.
- Cost Out - Assist Sourcing Director / Senior Sourcing Manager to secure the lower cost options for Merchandising team through effective negotiation and value improvement initiatives. Bring industry product/manufacturing insights and innovative product offers to Merchandising team.
- Ship On Time - Evaluation of factory production to ensure that they are able to meet requirements as it relates to production output and quality. Take proactive actions base on potential risk identified, and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless program execution and on time shipment for all new awarded, new transited and routine business
- Project Management - Complete work assignments to meet deadlines; collaborate with cross-functional teams and Vietnam offices, to solve business problems; understand priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and information; identify and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities when possible.
- Bachelors Degree in business or other profession in related fields
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience related to the retail market
- 3+ years of managerial experience
- Experience in International Business, Sourcing and Merchandising
- Knowledge of manufacturing process and import sourcing practices / procedures
- Knowledge of global supplier base and strong supplier development experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication skills with fluency in English and predominate local language(s)
- Relevant industry experience related to Home Improvement products
- Hands on product knowledge and experience of responsible product categories
