Security Officer

• Oversees the hotel's security control and carry out regular patrols of all areas surrounding and within the hotel compound.
• Uphold the highest standard of safety and security by ensuring that all internal and external personnel adhere to the policies and procedures set by the local law and the hotel.
• Monitors and perform assessment checks of CCTV surveillance, all electronic security devices and fire alarm systems daily.
• Conduct investigation of all incidents, crime or suspicious characters according to the policies and procedures set by the hotel.
• Maintain a presence in public areas, identify and report suspicious persons or objects to ensure vigilance of safety and security of guests and hotel personnel.
• Ensures safekeeping of all loss and found items and keep records under the appropriate loss and found system.
• Follow, Log and Record a daily, weekly, and monthly checklist such as Fire Alarm System, Emergency Public Announcement Systems, Key Control, CCTV equipment, Access doors, Patrolling and Life Saving concerns to ensure that they are fully functional.
• Conducts random checks on goods and staff entering/ leaving the hotel premises.
• Provide thorough and up to date knowledge of security, safety and fire prevention as directed by management.
• Assist guests, visitors, staff, suppliers and all public associate's while maintaining a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Ensures that working areas are kept neat, organised and clean at all times.
• Report any defects or work orders to the relevant department to ensure defect-free and safe operation of facilities and services for all guests and colleagues.

• General Education Certificate

• Experiences in similar role at luxury hotels/resorts

• Knowledge of firefighting and first aid.
• Proficient in CCTV, communication devices
• Basic command of written and spoken English
