We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Garden Supervisor to join our team and help craft the serene beauty that surrounds every guest experience.As a Garden Supervisor, you will be the guardian of our lush tropical gardens, ensuring every pathway, plant, and palm tree reflects the tranquility and charm that defines our resort. You will lead a team of gardeners and bring a strong sense of aesthetic, responsibility, and care to maintaining the natural elegance that frames every memory made here.If you have a passion for nature, an eye for design, hands-on gardening experience, and a commitment to excellence, we welcome you to grow with us in our M Gallery story.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Garden Maintenance Supervision:Monitor and supervise daily garden care activities such as watering, pruning, fertilizing, pest control, lawn mowing, and tree planting.Ensure all garden areas are well-maintained and meet aesthetic and safety standards.Team Management:Assign tasks, schedule work, and supervise gardeners and garden workers.Train and guide team members on proper gardening techniques, safe equipment usage, and resort service behavior.Planning and Reporting:Develop routine and seasonal maintenance plans.Report on garden conditions, submit proposals for replanting or redesigning areas, and take action in cases of disease, pest infestation, or weather-related damage.Coordination and Event Support:Work closely with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Events) to prepare and maintain decorative plants and floral arrangements for resort events and guest areas.Assist with temporary garden installations for weddings, festivals, and other occasions.Equipment and Supplies Management:Oversee the usage and maintenance of gardening tools, irrigation systems, fertilizers, and related supplies.Recommend procurement or repairs when necessary.Health, Safety, and Compliance:Ensure all gardening activities comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.Promote safe working practices among the gardening team.QualificationsEducation: Diploma or higher in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Environmental Science, or related fields.Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a similar supervisory role within a resort, hotel, or large residential/commercial property.Skills:Strong supervisory and planning skills.Knowledge of local plant species, gardening practices, and pest control.Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, report writing).Other Qualities:Good aesthetic sense and passion for greenery.Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.Polite and professional when interacting with guests or other staff.Additional Information
