- Support IT head to develop and maintain the IT strategic plan, aligning it with the bank's overall business strategy.
- Analysing existing IT infrastructure, identifying gaps, and predicting future needs.
- Developing and managing infra project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Identifying and evaluating project risks and follow up the remediation actions.
- Assessing the effectiveness of project controls and risk management processes.
- Managing relationships with IT vendors, ensuring contracts are favourable and services are delivered effectively.
- Perform infrastructure capacity planning and ensure systems are optimized.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage infrastructure upgrades and determine when they are necessary.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define architecture and project requirements.
- Establishes infrastructure requirements and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
- Providing reports, technical expertise and architectural solutions in infrastructure, including progress against plans, cost overruns, and risk assessments.
- Acts as a technical advisor for infrastructure-related projects.
- Provides support for infrastructure-related issues or outages.
- Evaluate existing systems and components to identify potential obsolescence risks and predict timelines for component and technology obsolescence.
- Develop and implement plans to address identified obsolescence risks, including component replacement strategies, re-fresh solutions, and software updates.
- Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, project management, operations) to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
- Identify and implement improvements to the obsolescence management process, including documentation, reporting, and governance.
- Communicate obsolescence risks and plans to stakeholders, including management, project teams, and end-users.
- Maintain detailed documentation of obsolescence activities, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, and project status reports.
- Develop and manage budgets for obsolescence management activities, including component replacement and re-fresh projects.
- English proficiency.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in IT major.
- Overall experience of at least 6-10 years in IT.
- Understanding of various infrastructure components: Network infrastructures, enterprise network operations, cloud computing, virtualization, and network security.
- Strong understanding of IT project management principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and best practices.
- Experience in conducting IT audits and risk assessments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in IT documentation.
