- Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- 7-10 years of proven experience in sweater or knitwear production, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- In-depth technical knowledge of sweater production processes - from yarn selection and knitting to finishing.
- Demonstrated capability in leading large production teams and performing well under tight deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with production planning systems, ERP/MIS tools, and MS Office applications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience working with international clients and an understanding of global quality and compliance expectations.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts, 5S workplace organization, or Six Sigma techniques.
- Awareness of sustainability trends and best practices in apparel production.
- Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for sweater lines to meet delivery commitments.
- Supervise end-to-end operations, coordinating closely with knitting, linking, trimming, washing, and finishing teams.
- Manage production schedules, ensuring timely order completion and shipment.
- Drive efficient use of labor, machinery, and materials to maintain productivity and control costs.
- Work closely with the QA/QC teams to ensure all finished products comply with customer quality requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and evaluate production staff, including line leaders, operators, and support workers; deliver training and coaching when necessary.
- Identify production bottlenecks or process gaps and implement practical solutions to maintain smooth workflow.
- Enforce strict safety procedures, workplace discipline, and housekeeping standards across all production areas.
- Liaise with relevant departments such as merchandising, planning, maintenance, and supply chain to resolve production issues and align operational goals.
- Track daily production metrics, prepare reports, and monitor KPIs like efficiency rates, defect percentages, and downtime.
- Support and promote continuous improvement activities such as Lean, Kaizen, or 5S to enhance operational excellence.
