Our client is a global garment / apparel manufacturer
  • Bachelor's or Diploma in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or Garment Technology
  • 5-10 years of experience in jacket or outerwear production
  • Strong technical knowledge in garment construction, pattern making, SMV, and machinery
Preferred:
  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g. Gerber, Lectra)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, IE principles, and cost-saving techniques
If you are keen on this role, please click to button APPLY or directly contact Ms. Khanh Vy for immediate support via email: khanhvy.nguyen@adecco.comProduct Development & Sample ManagementReview and interpret design specifications, working closely with the creative and merchandising teams.Oversee pattern creation to ensure accurate fit, silhouette, and construction standards.Monitor sample production process and secure necessary approvals from buyers.Production Support & Technical SolutionsDevelop step-by-step operation plans for newly introduced styles.Organize production lines to maximize efficiency in jacket manufacturing.Provide hands-on technical assistance during mass production and troubleshoot on-site issues.Process OptimizationImplement improved sewing techniques, effective line balancing, and targeted training for operators.Detect workflow bottlenecks and take corrective measures for smoother operations.Ensure proper machinery, attachments, and tools are utilized for specialized processes such as seam sealing, padding, or quilting.Quality ControlWork alongside quality teams to uphold agreed quality benchmarks.Reduce the need for rework and lower first-time defect rates.Maintain compliance with AQL standards and readiness for customer audits.Team Development & Interdepartmental CollaborationTrain and mentor production staff and line leaders on technical aspects.Coordinate with CAD, merchandising, maintenance, and production planning teams to ensure smooth operations.
