Job Description:Upskills provides expert financial software consulting for investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe region. With a strong, Front to Back expertise of the cash and derivatives markets, coupled by an in-depth knowledge of financial markets technologies, we provide smart, business-wise and efficient solutions.We are seeking dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team who providing advanced solutions for enterprise customers, particularly in the financial and banking sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the deployment and integration of our application suite within the firm and at customer sites, ensuring optimal instrumentation, scalability, and compliance with security standards.You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and customers to ensure seamless delivery, performance testing, and documentation of our solutions. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical acumen, cross-functional teamwork, and occasional code fixes.
  • Manage Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools currently using Python /Bash/ Java.
  • Build, contribute to our monitoring system.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support and manage infrastructure components using Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Support and troubleshooting infrastructure and development environment but not limited to productions.
  • Perform designing, optimizing infrastructure to make our system more stable.
  • Provide day-to-day support to ensure the smooth running of the computers, network devices, printers as well as end users' requirements.
  • Interact with our international clients and our business analysts in Singapore and on the world.
  • Scheduled maintenance and patching of Infrastructure environments as necessary.
  • Creating and performing authorized changes to customer environments.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking or relevant discipline.
  • Fresh Grad(s) are very welcome to apply.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment practices.
  • Have knowledge of IaaS.
  • Familiar with CI/CD.
  • Familiar with OS server, Windows server, Linux server.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) for deployment and infrastructure tasks.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
  • Have knowledge of monitor tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Fluent English and good communication skills is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed for deployment and support.
