Job Purpose:The BDM is the main interface between the Company's Customers and Suppliers including the end customer of the Partner. BDM is responsible for business expansion & execution of the suppliers' strategy. The BDM is responsible for the complete sales cycle with an aim to maximizing revenue, Net Gross Profits and Customer satisfaction by developing deep relationships with key people in the supplier organization, partners and end customers. Will be responsible for handling suppliers independently clearly focusing on delivery top-class value-added services.Responsibilities:Create, Develop and implement supplier and vendor specific initiatives.Channel Partner and Vendor engagementExecution - Credit management, Order processing, AR CollectionsOperational excellence - pipeline management, forecasting and inventory managementKnowledge, Skills and Experience:Because Business Development Managers operate at the intersection of the Microsoft, Value Added Resellers and end-user customers, they must possess strong communication abilities and the capacity to facilitate teamwork across departments and should be an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing.Multiple years (3+ years preferred) of Microsoft products and channel business experience or otherwise 5+ years in channel driven software solutions.Has commercial awareness, customer focus and ability to build structured sales activityHas high energy and self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityKnowledge and/or experience of industries served by Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft Biz AppKnowledgeable on principles, practices and techniques of project managementProven strong negotiation skills and persuasion to align Microsoft resellers and end-users towards Microsoft strategy and collaborative solutions.Team player with a strong customer orientation.Good knowledge of English and any other local regional language would be beneficial.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Has business or technical degree or equivalent qualification for the relevant industry and product area.Key SkillsWhat’s In It For You?
