If so, then you might be the match for our role as Accounting and Finance Specialist (10-month contract) based in Viet Nam.What you can expect:As an Accounting and Finance Specialist, your primary responsibility will involve preparing bookkeeping documents and conducting calculations, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions within Nepcon's finance system. Your attention to detail, accuracy, and expertise in working with numbers and invoices will be invaluable in this role. Additionally, your strong communication skills will enable you to build trust with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating the preparation and submission of various accounting and financial reports.You can expect the following areas to be central to your work.

Processing suppliers' invoices including approvals, recording, and payment preparation, as well as handling clients' invoices such as preparation, sending, and payment follow-up.
Recording bank transactions and other business transactions (such as revenues, expenses, accruals) in NEPCon's finance system.
Reviewing personnel credit card statements and reconciling them with staff expense reports, providing guidance to NEPCon staff regarding personnel reimbursables and credit card expenses.
Supporting accounting book of Preferred by Nature SDN.BHD, including participating in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Assisting with various accounting and finance tasks for NEPCon group entities, such as booking bank transactions, reconciling accounting balances with bank statements, and conducting various account reconciliations.
Assisting with finance and accounting calculations and data processing, maintaining accounting documentation, and participating in local and group financial audits.
Other tasks as assigned

Important that you:

Have bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other relevant education.
4-6 years of experience with accounting, financial reporting.
Excellent in written and verbal communication in English
Knowledge of international accounting standards or a strong willingness to learn;
Full proficiency in use of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong general understanding of administrative IT systems, and the ability to learn to work with new programs fast.

Would also be great, but not necessary, if you:

Have experience in working with NGO, international team.
Familiar with IT system - Salesforce
