About the Company:Our client is a market leader in the manufacturing sector, renowned for pioneering innovations and delivering high-quality products across various industries. With a global footprint and a commitment to sustainability and excellence, they are dedicated to enhancing industry standards and customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and cutting-edge technology.About the Role:They are seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead their sales and marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on developing markets in Asia and Europe and supporting sales efforts in North America. This strategic position involves managing a dedicated team of approximately 10 professionals and reports directly to the Director of Operations.Responsibilities:
  • Lead and expand sales and marketing strategies across Asia and Europe while supporting their efforts in the North American market in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals, fostering an environment of growth, performance, and excellence.
  • Drive B2B sales initiatives, demonstrating a profound understanding of industrial sales, particularly within the mechanical and machinery components sectors.
  • Craft and execute innovative strategies to penetrate and expand in targeted markets, ensuring alignment with global objectives and operational goals.
  • Serve as a pivotal figure in understanding market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to steer product positioning and sales approaches effectively.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of success in B2B industrial sales, with specific experience in mechanical and machinery components.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and leading a team, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and drive performance.
  • Deep understanding of market development strategies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with a global team and reporting to senior management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to develop and support international markets.
