
Finance Manager

- Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial support and develop short and long-term financial plans
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for management, corporate office, and owners
- Manage the month-end closing process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process, capital budgets, and rolling forecasts
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management procedures
- Ensure compliance with local laws, fiscal regulations, and company policies
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Assist in conducting regular operational risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
- Support the Director of Finance in driving financial literacy across the organization
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software
- Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information to various stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in performance management and implementing financial controls
- Strong understanding of risk management and compliance in a corporate setting
- Ability to adapt to and thrive in an international work environment
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of Vietnamese is a must
- Willingness to relocate to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, and embrace island living
