- Managing the accounting and finance functions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Overseeing budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support decision-making processes.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the accounting team.
- Developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures.
- Preparing financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
- Develop and manage financial KPIs; partner closely with leadership to drive business growth.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic/annual planning cycles.
- Deliver timely and insightful financial reporting, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
- Support procurement, sales targets, and trade-related activities.
- Maximize value from contracts and ensure effective cost management.
- Manage full set of accounts in accordance with IFRS, local GAAP, and corporate policies.
- Oversee tax compliance, including CIT, VAT, WHT, and tax incentives.
- Ensure accurate revenue and inventory recognition; manage stock expiry and destruction.
- Maintain AR health and cash flow; oversee payroll and statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Manage statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and legal consultants.
- Act as the legal representative/director for the Vietnam entity.
- Ensure company operations and legal matters align with Vietnamese regulations.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
- Drive ad-hoc finance projects to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in commercial finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and local compliance standards.
- Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP B1 is a plus).
- Strong communication in English and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Background in healthcare, medical devices, or the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
