- Manage the allocated project through structured gated process from concept/quotation to production-handover.
- Plan, coordinate, implement and finalise projects according to specifications and deadlines, while maintaining the project performance indices i.e. Quality, Cost & Delivery
- Carry out process validation for new/existing manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements. Use of FMEA activities.
- Preparation of Control documents/work instructions and provide technical support to production departments when necessary.
- Technical decisions/guidance and flow down of projects requirements to Suppliers. These include (but not limited to); tool and fixture manufacturing designs, machining requirements, drawings, CAD models, Contract/Condition of Supply requirements.
- Review customer specifications and ensure that we are meeting all the special requirements.
- Prepare NPI schedule, follow up and update.
- Perform DFA, DFM and FMEA review.
- Coordinate and monitor the progress of Tooling, Jigs and fixtures and Templates readiness.
- Support on Tooling, Jigs and Fixtures on engineering processes.
- Responsible for assembly process and work instructions.
- Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues.
- Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues-engineering changes, new model development.
- Contribute to or oversee product design.
- Follow up doc release, material full kit status, tool / jig for the build, packaging design, process of new product building study & setup.
- Work out process flow, FMEA of new NPI.
- Follow up process SMT, Wave soldering, assembly, testing.
- Work with R&D for issue & advice of solution during the build, then capture in DFM and follow up for closing.
- Supervise production of final version of items and monitor in early stage for product released for production build until being stable.
- Receive and report to upper-level management information on progress of development and roll-out.
- Participate in corrective action requests, root cause analysis, problem-solving teams as related to issues affecting the project.
- Experience using statistical techniques (SPC's, Gauge R & R).
- Experience working with projects in APQP/PPAP environment is preferred, but not essential.
- Postmortem report.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Good in English.
- 3 years in electronic field, familiar with SMT, Assembly, testing…especially in Wire harness.
- Understand PCBA, box build test process. Can read schematic, diagram, drawing, and trouble shoot analysis.
- Familiar with the transfer process from the R&D to factory on the testing and electronic analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electric, automation Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Communicates accurately, clearly, and directly in both verbal and written form both internally and externally.
- Understanding of product / process development, verification and validation techniques and tools.
- Practical knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, change management, problem solving.
- Tactical Data Analysis: Mini tab, Cpk, GR&R, SPC…
- 5S / Lean / Organized mind set.
- Project Management Skill.
- Office Skill: Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Project.
- Active and Aggressive are preferred.
