Position Summary:The General Manager will represent the company as its legal representative, championing its interests and driving growth in Vietnam and ASEAN region. This role is accountable for developing and executing the national business strategy aligned with regional and global objectives, ensuring strong financial performance, operational excellence, and organizational development.Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Represent company in Vietnam as the legal and executive head.
  • Develop and implement the Vietnam business strategy in alignment with regional and global priorities.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop the local leadership team and broader workforce.
  • Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with customers, government bodies, industry associations, and key external partners.
  • Foster business synergies and spearhead new business development opportunities across Vietnam and the ASEAN region.
  • Actively engage in public representation and participate in supervisory or administrative boards as needed.
  • Operational & Financial Management
  • Oversee and manage the country P&L, ensuring profitability, cost-efficiency, and financial governance.
  • Optimize resource allocation while maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, corporate policies, and industry standards.
  • Culture & Organizational Development
  • Champion a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Drive employee development, talent retention, and succession planning.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven senior leadership experience in an international, matrix-structured organization (preferably in industrial automation or engineering).
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align local execution with global direction.
  • Solid understanding of the Vietnam business environment and ASEAN market dynamics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with full P&L responsibility and financial acumen.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Vietnamese is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
