- Lead and mentor the regional IT team to deliver excellent service and operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily operations related to IT infrastructure, security, and business applications.
- Foster collaboration by maintaining open communication with global/local business leaders and IT counterparts.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and manage regional service desk incidents using ITIL-based processes.
- Develop and implement a regional IT roadmap that aligns with local business needs and global IT standards.
- Serve as the key IT advisor to local factory management, offering insights on how technology can support growth and innovation.
- Lead or support the execution of IT projects within Vietnam that align with both global strategies and local requirements.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet desired outcomes.
- Security, Governance & Compliance
- Partner with global security teams to identify and respond to security threats in the region.
- Guarantee compliance with corporate policies and external regulations such as ISO 27001 and CTPAT.
- Maintain IT governance standards, including proper documentation and audit readiness.
- Business Applications & Digital Innovation
- Build strong partnerships with local leaders to ensure that IT solutions support factory goals.
- Collaborate with global and local teams on cross-functional initiatives that drive digital transformation and innovation.
- Manage the IT budget efficiently, balancing cost control with quality service delivery.
- Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with strategic and financial targets.
- Other Duties
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Global Director of Infrastructure & Network.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT Manager role, with a solid track record in leading IT operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Business Applications (e.g., ERP, MES, HRMS).
- Proficient in managing and implementing infrastructure and security solutions, including:
- Azure Cloud Services: Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure Storage, M365
- Virtualization & Networking: VMWare, Cisco Meraki (MX/MS/MR)
- Hardware & Monitoring Tools: Dell/Fujitsu/HP servers, Veeam backup solutions, SentinelOne, NinjaOne, Ticketing systems
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud modules such as FICO, MM, PP, QM, SD, PM, etc.
- Familiar with manufacturing processes and systems including BOM (Bill of Materials), production planning, quality control, and MRP.
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as SAP DMC, Siemens OpsCenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or similar platforms.
- Proficient in using integration tools and communication protocols (e.g., APIs, REST) to interface MES with IoT devices, PLCs, SCADA, and automation systems.
- Demonstrated experience in managing third-party vendors and service providers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a strategic approach to complex IT challenges.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
- Effective collaborator with excellent interpersonal and listening abilities.
- Capable of clearly communicating complex technical concepts in both written and verbal forms.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Preferred certifications include (but are not limited to):
- Microsoft: MCSE, MSA, Azure
- Amazon: AWS
- Networking/Security: CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Meraki, Security+, CEH, CompTIA
- IT & Project Management: ITIL, PMP
- Business Tools & ERP: Power BI, SAP Certifications
