KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe LCL Product Manager drives and grows profitability in the area by translating global strategy and initiatives into Vietnam LCL Product and Performance plans and ensuring this is being executed and provides support with expertise and guidance. The product member is responsible for the P&L of the product and initiatives thereof.1/ Strategy/Product Management:Own the execution of global initiatives and strategy within the Country.Identify market trends, opportunities, and customer needs.Build bridges between Product development, Operations and SalesBe an ambassador of Vietnam LCL to our global network.2/ Carrier and Coloader Relationship Management (incl ad-hoc local procurement)Support the Maersk LCL Network in building optimum routings (direct or via hub).Drive growth by increasing the utilization of its own consolidation boxes.Manage vendor relationships with Coload partners and have country country-specific strategy for growth and service delivery.3/Pricing ManagementCountry responsibility for LCL Quotations for Global and Local opportunities.Work for conversion and retention of tender opportunities.Build strong solutions to grow volumes and margins4/ Service ExcellenceImplement continuous improvement of standard processes, systems and KPI to enhance LCL service excellence.Ensuring customer-specific KPI’s are met.Drive cost-saving initiatives.5/ Performance ManagementProduct profitability - Focus on maximizing revenue, EBIT and GP through upselling and cost management.Own the monthly P&L numbers and budgetingD. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR3-5 years of freight forwarding/NVOCC experience, with key understanding/experience in LCL development/execution.Country LCL market knowledgeStrong analytical mindset and exceptional prioritization skills for time-critical tasks.Ability to independently organize and structure daily work, efficiently managing workload with agility.The candidate we are looking for must have good communication, networking, and interpersonal skills that they can use to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally.Fluent in written/spoken English and Vietnamese; Mandarin speaker will be an additional priority.Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
