Explore regional trends and future outlook with Savills.>Senior AccountantDepartment: Property ManagementSCOPE OF WORKBe responsible for planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in the activities of all accountants in the project, ensuring compliance with company processesFinancial and AccountingBe responsible for the most efficient operation of the building, in particular:
- Control of bank deposits
- Control outstanding payment from residents
- Cash control
- Control bank authorized signer
- Control over deposits received
- Control over deposits-paid
- Third party contracts (income)
- Third party contract (cost)
- Control inventory levels.
- Control receiving goods
- Control over salaries payment
- Ensure that company Policies Procedures are complied
- Monitor purchasing procedure
- Control and check the invoice issuing
- Annually, in conjunction with the Property Manager, Department Heads, establish and compile all budgets and forecasts covering all activities of the project and to maintain all budget control procedures.
- Detailed reports on monthly revenues
- Bad debt recovery report
- Keep tracking of the money
- Inventory report (quarterly)
- Advance suggestions to the Investor
- Check the monthly report of input and output VAT, Bizzi report of projects.
- Monitor the tax declaration and payment for BOC's tax code
- Ad-hoc reports from HO
- Contribute to relations with Auditors, Lawyers and Banks
- Contribute ideas to create regulations, management rules
- Develop/ implement policies and procedures
- Ensure that timely procedures and controls are in, implemented for the Accounting Department as guidelines for staff within the other department
- Take part in statistics, reporting inventory quantities and ascertain how they are used properly
- Be responsible for day to day management of the Accounting Department
- Graduated in Accounting/Auditing.
- Diploma/Degree in Management.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills for liaising with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders
- Ability to work with IT resources such as databases and spreadsheets for the collection and management of information
- At least 2-years experience in related fields;
- Proficient English (both speaking and writing);
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills;
- Proactive, competency, flexibility and a willingness to learn;
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to work multitasking;
- Literacy for writing reports and presentations;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure;
- Creativity, imagination and the ability to use initiative;
- Good teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- A strong understanding of the business sector and a good knowledge of current affairs
