Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for an Product Development Manager (Footbed, ID-18194):Lead and manage the Development team in designing and developing high-performance PU foam insoles for footwear applicationsConduct research on PU foam properties, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies to improve product quality and durabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, marketing) to align R&D efforts with business goalsFollow up and take ownership of tooling tests for new projects assigned by related departmentsOversee prototyping, testing, and validation of new insole designs to ensure they meet industry standards and customer expectationsCoordinate with Tier 1 suppliers throughout the development process-from concept to mass productionEnsure all products meet company standards for performance, aesthetics, and cost-efficiencyWork closely with designers, engineers, and production teams to translate design concepts into manufacturable productsFacilitate team discussions on planning, troubleshooting, and organizing new development projectsRequirementBachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Design, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in product development within the footwear or materials industryStrong knowledge of PU foam materials and footwear manufacturing processesProven leadership experience in managing development teams and cross-functional collaborationExcellent project management skills with a focus on timelines, productivity, and quality controlAbility to analyze technical data and translate insights into actionable development strategiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments and with external partnersFluent in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are a plusDetail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environmentKeywords
