1. Main Tasks:
  • Generate and maintain a portfolio of trading + prospective customers (targets to define upon start)
  • Maintain an active opportunity pipeline to meet and exceed targets, and ensure it is entered into the system
  • Ensure accurate and timely entries and maintenance of high-quality information on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Have a clear understanding and knowledge of DHL products and services
  • Be aware of market developments and competition
  • Make competitive proposals to customers and convert them in favor of DHL. Wins, retains, and develops medium-sized Business Customers (Gross Profit of EUR10K-150K) per annum
  • Build rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customers’ business and the market. Assesses the type and size of customer needs
  • Collect relevant customer information for the Request for Information (RFI)/ Request for Proposal (RFP)/ Request for Quotation (RFQ) and prepare documents for customer implementation to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations, following Service-Level Agreement (SLA) & Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
  • Use networks within the various Sales channels within DHL to collaborate on customers' marketing strategies and offer a full supply chain of services to serve customer needs.
2. Requirements:
  • COMPULSORY: Student (NOT a fresh graduate and still be student for at least 6 months) who can work full-time from Monday to Friday for 8 months, 1-2 off-sessions per week for the study is acceptable
  • Good English skills (both speaking and writing)
  • Proven commercial mindset
  • Can-do attitude, hard-working and enthusiastic
  • Good administrative skills, results-driven and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities
  • Ability to work effectively, independently and in a Team environment.
  • Basic business skills
  • Experience with MS Office e.g. Outlook; experience with CRM tools preferred
