- Manage and operate the compliance management activities.
- Oversee compliance violations, verify complaints/reports, lead investigations and propose corrective measures.
- Conduct post-checks and ensure effective compliance controls are in place in order to maintain operational integrity and ensure adherence to company policies, and ethical standards.
- Conduct regular and thorough compliance/due diligence checks across departments to ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations including ABC, Business Ethics Compliance, 3rd party sense-check, non-legal compliance;
- Provide continuous advisory and support on the Code of Integrity/ Business Ethics/Sanctions/Conflict of Interest;
- Localize, draft, review, and update, translate Group Policies issued by Group Compliance, guidelines, all kinds of compliance SOPs, Forms, compliance documentations in both Vietnam and English;
- Develop and maintain a system to track, monitor, and report on compliance violations and related actions; identify areas for improvement in the compliance program and proposing strategies for continuous improvement;
Supporting Legal and Compliance Manager internal investigation of SGS, including:
- Lead and manage all investigations related to matters, ensuring thorough and impartial examination of cases; support Legal & Compliance Manager to work with the Group/Regional Compliance to manage all matters;
- Advise product and business groups across the company regarding privacy and security requirements;
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and company policies, and ensure investigations are conducted in line with company procedures and legal standards.
- Generally lead and manage Integrity Program, develop and implement preventive measures based on results of Integrity Program (IFIA Handbook of Integrity Operating Procedures: Social Auditing Services).
- Conducting onsite visit for high-risk client, meeting with client or any third parties in relation to Integrity Program.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols to protect company assets, personnel, and operations. Ensures compliance with corporate security policies and local regulations.
- Implementing Global Security Risk Management Policy in Vietnam, such as: (i) Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely manner; (ii) Maintain incident reports and security logs; (iii) Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when needed; (iv) Support implementation of security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control); and (v) Train staff on security awareness and emergency procedures.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in compliance, legal, audit, or related fields. Candidates with prior investigative experience in government agencies, banks, insurance companies, or foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises are strongly encouraged to apply. Such backgrounds will be considered a valuable asset during the selection process.
- University degree in a related field (e.g. Law, Business Administration, People Security University or other relevant disciplines).
- Proficient in compliance regulations, policies, ethical standards, and investigative methodologies, knowledge of sanctions advisory is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely in English & Vietnamese.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
- Demonstrate work with integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
